Completed in 2022, this single family home was updated for a sweet young family in South Austin. The design is a subtle and minimal take on the bohemian style, which is characterized by relaxed silhouettes, carefree layers of pattern, texture in a desert-inspired color palette. The upholstery options include light colored fabrics and nude-toned leather. The wood is lighter-toned than other looks and uses a low tonal approach to creating depth in a room. The result is an airy and light soaked sanctuary punctuated with organic elements such as plants, rattan and wicker.
Some unique features include: a murphy bed that converts from a bed into a desk in the mixed use room as well as well as a wood panel in the living room to give the home a sophisticated update.The result is a calming and tranquil space that this family can grow into.
